Aathuvansi Leu
Aathuvansi Leu (657-694), also known as Leu the Walrus and the Tusky Admiral, was a Luetkan noble chief, ship captain, and admiral of the fleet during The Blue Storm. Born into relative wealth in the southern island of Kododza, Aathuvansi grew up in an era when raiding on the northern coast of Khutu and Taizi was a rite of passage. With the decline in fos stocks following the fos blight of 649-651, followed by The Unrendering of bubun in 669, the Omban countries' defenses were weakened. Aathuvansi rose quickly in the ranks and in 691, he and his fleet of ships embarked on a series of raids previously unseen. Eventually, Eluli Ula Himself intervened and in 694, Leu's fleet was crushed and he himself was injured severely, eventually succumbing to his wounds. To this day, the Luetkans descended from the prisoners of the Blue Storm in southern Khutu continue to revere Leu as a kind of folk hero.
