Conquest of Umnaka
From RocksfallWiki
The conquest of Umnaka was an incomplete attempt to extend Omban influence into northern Umnaka, starting around 290 IE. In 291, the city of Jinto was conquered and Omban rule established along a strip of land perhaps twenty miles wide along the border with Malfan. However, the death of Khogru IV in 291 and his replacement by his son Khogru V ended the momentum for further conquest, so Omba never expanded beyond Jinto. The Enskrai, in particular, proved highly intractable to being settled on farming estates, making significant progress into the territory impossible. Jinto remained under Omban control through the end of the Empire and Omban influence persisted there long thereafter, but the remainder of Umnaka was not affected greatly.
