Vuruma Uklorofte

Vuruma (710-), known to the Lady as Tuturg, is the hengi of the Uklorofte lineage, one of very few in Khutu that traditionally has a female hengi and reckons descent primarily through the matriline. A woman passing from her middle years, Vuruma has extensive and close relations with most of the other Naftusa lineages, and most recently has been trying to secure a marriage between one of her descendants and one of the Nemni lineage, so far without success. The Uklorofte hold substantial landholdings as ibex herders and participate actively in the town's weaving industry, so Vuruma is quite wealthy for a commoner.
