Lijun Ararta
Lijun (727-743-748-), born as Vundum, known as Long Sable and to the Lady as Alfun, is a thin, long-haired Ravre vulture who grew up and still lives in Akapa Sogo, but makes the short trek down to Nemnosti where he works as a teacher of the history and geography of the province, often taking groups of acolytes on trips into the wilderness. As a youth, Lijun was very reckless, and died and was revivified as a revenant not just once, but twice. Now he is pensive, intellectual, and cautious, unlike most vultures. Lijun was once invited to become the Ararta hengi but declined the role, which is an ongoing sore point among his lineage, some of whom see him as too civilized. He is close friends with Gigos Losturi, who was an acolyte along with him and the two of them are rumored to be in a relationship since the latter's recent return to the ulajeta.
