Gil Pirtu

An abandoned fortress in the eastern part of Naftusa Province, which once overlooked the lowlands of The Turtu before the waters dried up and the region became largely abandoned. Unlike its remote sibling Gil Hargush, Gil Pirtu is still readily accessible especially from the town of Zhustir, and parts of the fort have been used in buildings within the town and its environs.
