Dedication of Urpeska

The Dedication of Urpeska is a short dedicatory inscription on a city wall in the town of Urpeska, just west of the city of Omba. The date on the inscription, in the year 26 of the rule of the Omban king Zukmarvan commemorates the building of the wall 215 years before the founding of the Omban Empire. It is generally regarded as the earliest dated inscription in the Ombesh language.
