Borgegus Ula
Borgegus (106-123- ), born Borgegus Ildosine, known as the Wayfinder, the Old Novice, and the Duke of Needs, is a saint whose physical appearance is a handsome young man, perhaps sixteen or seventeen. Borgegus is in fact the oldest and most senior saint in the Khutuan capital of Onighus, having been in place there since His awakening around 123. His cult was responsible for the rebuilding of much of Onighus which had been damaged after the great fire of 115, during which time He and the Borgegi became exceptionally wealthy landowners in the city. It was at Borgegus' doing that, with the end of the Tirumfegla dynasty, Eluli Ula was brought from Omba to Onighus to reign as Khutu's emperor-saint. Borgegus' personal wealth exceeds all but the sainted Emperor Himself, and He uses it cunningly to build a network of social power. His ulajeta, known as the Maze, is a massive complex of warehouses, outbuildings, homes, temples, and shops in the western harbour area of Onighus, parts of which are several centuries old and almost dizzyingly complex to navigate. Borgegus is a close ally of Nemnu Ula, and helped ensure the success of Nemnosti in its early years before it became self-sustaining, and They call one another brother and sister in their frequent communications. It is common for the two to exchange wards, young folks seeking training or wisdom in the other's ulajeta.
