Empress of House Cat, r. 1744-1790. Her Warlord, Pheon Langevin, rose through the ranks of the guard to Captain, then gained his position by saving the Empress’s life, foiling a plot to assassinate her (and also, it is rumoured by less-reliable sources, because of his handsome appearance, for the Empress Azaelle was not unmoved by such concerns).
