Boden of Gouge (Andusk)

Boden of Gouge was once a famous gladiator. Captured in the savage lands to the north at a young age and trained to fight in the arena, his size and skill won him many admirers in his day, but at the height of his fame, when he was around twenty-five, his contract was bought out by Kalman Vak'andres and he was brought into the Vak'andres household, ostensibly to serve as breeding stock. Whatever the reason, he was evidently a valued member of the family until his death some ten years ago, at the age of 60.

Kalman's true feelings for the captured savage may be far more... affectionate, which may account for his sympathy and assistance with securing the contract of César from the Arena, at Sendhel's request.
