Lunduso
Lunduso, also known as Aiduruso, formerly Malama, is the largest city and capital of Daligash, and, at 110,000 inhabitants at minimum, the largest city in any of the Omban successor states. It is located on the south shore of Lake Bunduga at the mouth of the Duruso River, where it serves as a major shipping port. Historically it was known as Malama until the end of the Imperial period, when it took its current name. As the home of the Daligashi Senate, Lunduso is home to the iftibals of many of the largest and most important lineages in the country, several of which are almost impossibly wealthy from agricultural produce. The Bronze and Ruby factions each have great towers, one on either side of the river, that are the central meeting-places for those two factions in the city.. While there is historically a corpseborn quarter in Lunduso, pragmatically, corpseborn live in many parts of the city almost seamlessly with people. Lunduso is also home to the largest Academy for mystics in the country, founded just before the end of the Empire, though one of relatively low prestige compared to the great academies of Dundures, Omba, or Ardukh, and also home to one of the largest keltas of envoys in the world.
