Kalu

Kalu is an elderly tiefling who is the head priest of the Turathi forces in Nēšu Abamātu. He has been a personal cleric for the Lalû family for decades, having befriended May's Mother Kēnūtu Lalû while they were both serving as neophyte priests of Asmodeus. The two courted for a short time but any chance of the two marrying was cut short after political developments led to Kēnūtu's parents betrothing her to May's father Durāru. He remained a friend of Kēnūtu for the rest of her life until she and her husband perished in the fall of Bael turath. He now remains with her daughter Māmītu, attempting to instruct her in the ways of Asmodeus.
