Ivis Nemni
Ivis Nemni (271-357), born Iwisei Kodzei, known as Duskwatcher and to the Lady as Chindi, was a member of one of the hillfolk tribes in the third and fourth century that now constitute the Ravre, and later, one of the first generation of Ravre to dedicate themselves to the service of Nemnu Ula. Ivis was around thirteen when Nemnosti was founded, but it was several years later when she was adopted into the Nemni lineage and took the Ombesh name Ivis. For many years, well into her eighties, Ivis served at least part of each year as the watcher at the tower at Vulusilt, which had been constructed during the late Empire, then abandoned until Nemnu asserted rights over it. During the First Khutu-Taizian War in 354, Ivis' bravery was fundamental in protecting the ulajeta from an attack, but Vulusilt itself was partially damaged during that assault by the Taizians, and ultimately, Nemnu decided to abandon it in 357. Ivis died two weeks later, to be interred as an honored ancestor in the Inner Caves.
