Imbis

Imbis is a small city on the island of the same name off the west coast of Basai. It has around 12,000 permanent residents and is strongly oriented towards a maritime economy - fishing, whaling, and shipping. Its architecture is highly characteristic of the rectangular stone and columns of the northern and eastern coastal provinces. Unlike Dundures to the east, the capital of Basai, Imbis is only moderately affected by the trade in fos and the role of the mystics in the city is less than elsewhere in the country.
