Eng-dur Chuchuru
Eng-dur (719 - 764?) was a powerful sigillant in The Ghengom who disappeared a few years ago and is presumed dead. Raised in the impoverished Chuchuru lineage in Vija Sogo in the high mountains, Eng-dur had a strong affinity to his lineage's reputation for being nomadic and practically 'uncivilized' - he never learned to read properly, and disdained most of the accoutrements of domestic life. He held firmly to the belief that a sigillant must have few attachments except to the craft, and only ever took one apprentice in his role as Upward. Despite his solitary nature and quirkiness, Eng-dur was thoughtful and kind to others, and would give his services away virtually for free to those in true need. Eng-dur's sudden disappearance has spawned all sorts of rumours among those who should know better, ranging from a mishap with standing stones to a jilted lover to an assassin's blade.
