Emperor of House Wolf, r. 1322-1328. The only Emperor ever to give up the throne voluntarily. He presented himself before the Great Council and announced his intention to retire to his family's estates, telling them to choose another ruler. After considerable debate, they permitted him to step aside, and he lived a long and seemingly contented life in quiet isolation.
