Afra Sortusai

Afra (743-), known as Firesnatch and to the Lady as Ikhi, is a younger daughter of the noble Sortusai clan, out of Naftusa. She came to Nemnosti as a youth to be an acolyte, and befriended many of the Nemni lineage. Her training was never intended to prepare her for life as either a Hand priestess or mystic, but rather, for a suitable marriage either within the Nemni clan or amongst the Khutuan nobility. So far, Afra has managed to avoid marriage, but for several years has been the mistress of Hojon Nemni, who is definitely still married. She is currently expecting a baby with Hojon, much to the dismay of many at the cloister.
