The Itineration of Eluli was a year-long ritual in which Eluli Ula travelled, under heavy guard, to every region of Khutu, throughout the year 734, to commemorate four hundred years of His rule over the country. Eluli made twenty-nine different visitations to major communities and temples throughout Khutu, listening to appeals from the citizenry, blessing children and new marriages, and visiting and speaking to revered saints and Ancestors who were important to Him. Those alive at the time remember the Itineration as a celebration of Khutu's unity, neutrality, and piousness. While there was some general concern due to the assassination of Malung Ula in 722, nothing untoward happened during the Itineration.
