A friend of Murienne Chanuier, she lived with her grandmother in the Shambles. When her grandmother died, Dessa ended up on the streets, and eventually fell in with Ninon de Quercy's gang. She left several items with Ysabeau for safekeeping, including a miniature painting of a young nobleman in old-fashioned clothing. She was murdered soon after.
