Ysabeau is a petite, pretty girl with a merry disposition. When she smiles, which is often, she has dimples in her cheeks. She has hazel eyes fringed with thick black lashes. Her hair is fine, soft, black and curly. She usually wears it piled up on top of her head, held by pins. She carries a few extra pounds which serve mostly to accentuate her womanliness (think of the 19th C ideal of feminine beauty).
At the Castalia you'd have seen her dressed in sensible gowns suitable for a student. She plays in a musical quartet at parties; if you attended, you'd have seen her in something a little more suitable for the occasion.
