Nikata Vegru
Nikata (743-), born Aathuvansi Niikata, is a young man who came from his homeland of Luetka to the town of Bemnes around ten years ago when his sister Alai was selected for acolyte training and eventually as Nemnu Ula's apprentice. Despite coming from the chiefly Aathuvansi lineage, Nikata was neither possessed of great intelligence or leadership ability, and so ended up coming to this area and basically finding himself shiftless and without a secure passion or capacity for anything. The Vegru lineage took him in and was trying to train him to be a brewer but what he took from that was a fondness for drink. He now lives in the village of Hertu near Nemnosti, basically working as a laborer for whatever lineage will take him in, and occasionally visiting his sister at Nemnosti. It's pretty widely believed that he is the father of at least one and maybe more kids locally, but is basically unmarriageable so it's better for those women to find someone else to be their dads.
