Kigraz
Kigraz is the largest city and capital of Hasmala. It has 46,000 permanent inhabitants along with, at least, 6,000 - 10,000 bubun at any time, who, in peacetime, work the great agricultural fields of the country. Kigraz is perhaps the iconic example of classic Omban architecture; it is built on several islands and peninsulas along the seacoast, and features impressive domed buildings, most notably the great Temple of the Hand, where the Heart of the Dead resides. Since the Treaty of Lekhi in 47 IE, Kigraz has been the center of Hasmalan politics in which the Hand of the Dead plays an overwhelming role, appointing nearly every officer of importance. It is also an important coastal port for shipping agricultural produce from the great Hasmalan fields throughout the other Omban successor states.
