Structure
The general structure of army units is as follows:
- Battalion: Five companies, usually headed by a Lieutenant-Colonel or a Colonel, supported by multiple officers and NCOs. Approximately 1000 people. (usually named)
- Company: Four Platoons. Usually headed by a captain or a major, often supported by other officers and high-ranking NCOs such as Warrant Officers. Approximately 200 people. (usually numbered)
- Platoon: Four squads. Usually headed by a Lieutenant and supported by 3-4 NCOS (one Sargent, several corporals in charge of their squads). Approximately 45 people. (usually lettered)
