Afra (743-) is a younger daughter of the noble Sortusai clan, out of Naftusa. She came to Nemnosti as a youth to be an acolyte, and befriended many of the Nemni lineage. Her training was never intended to prepare her for life as either a Hand priestess or mystic, but rather, for a suitable marriage either within the Nemni clan or amongst the Khutuan nobility.
