Shadar-Kai (Nerath)

The shadar-kai, once known as the elshadarin of the Courts of Faerie, are a people still recovering from a tragedy thousands of years past. Having lost their patron goddess, the shadar-kai reinvented themselves in service to a new deity, the grim ruler of the Shadowfell called the Raven Queen. Blessed and haunted by winter, death, and fate, the shadar-kai devote themselves wholly to whatever tasks lies before them, and woe to any who would stand in their way.
