Lukas’s younger sister, Ilse is fifteen. She used to work with her brother in their family’s bakery, then at the palace bakery. As a girl, she was a little pest who used to try and tag along with Lukas, Falke and their friends, earning her the nickname of 'Ilse the Grilse.' She has grown into a modest and sensible young woman. She and Falke Sathin are now married, and expecting their first child.
