Summary
Finally, Justen and Xan arrive at the site! Xan gets caught up with Sleyght, relaying a shortened version of their adventures and what he has learned about the tomb of Orelius. Sleyght introduces Xan to professor Gyrus from the University fo Nys, and then relays that some of the workers have come down with a mysterious. Justen goes to retrieve Karala in the hopes that she might be able to treat them, and knowing he can get her there faster than waiting for a priest to travel on foot. When one of them dies, and Xan suspects that he may turn into a ghoul, and volunteers himself and Justen to stand guard that night, and suggests that Sleyght establish a patrol.
