Companions of Silence

Diablotin's secret police, commonly called the Hush, who operate outside the normal guard structure, and whose nominal function is to keep the criminal underworld under control.

Their apparent leader is the current Lord Grey, Maze Olivier, but information about their membership is not widely known.

The Warlord has made a bid to take control of the organization since her appointment, as she didn't like the idea of operatives acting beyond the reach, and outside of the control of, the government. This has caused a rift in the Hush, and it isn't always clear who is on which side...
