Summary

The Burkuror, including Frond and Brauni, go to report to the Warden. While grateful, they seem intent on handling the fallout themselves, though say they will contact the caravan if they need any more help. Tsukaav gets into an altercation with some townspeople on his morning walk and the Brukuror come across this on their way back. After the fight is dispersed, Frond and Brauni dispute this, and what their culpability and responsibility are regarding the situation with the dying lands.

Qog talks to Kih about his feelings of personal responsibility, since he is the one who killed Hilja. Frond and Kirar visit Ressilmae at the Corellon temple, who tanks them for ridding the town of Hilja. he also tells them about the troublesome Porter's guild, and makes some suggestions about who they might talk to in town to help calm things down. After this, they visit Dirina, the head of the church of Modarin in town, and she says she will talk to her congregation. Qog and Tsukaav go for another boulder run, and have a nice chat. Brauni talks to Kanduk and they smooch... only to be interrupted by Yvelda, causing Kanduk to hit his head and run off. Chlyde teases her cousin as she goes after him, pissing her off more than intended, then talks to her aunt about life and magic. Brauni catches up with the werebear, and after calming down some, they go swimming in the river.
