Prologue

[Nemnosti-GM] Good evening, acolytes. I can see that some of you have been partaking of the free-flowing wine. I will not be too critical. It is a very special day, after all.
[Nemnosti-GM] I'm not going to claim to fully understand any of this. I have been fielding all your questions all day, as best as I can. I wish I had better answers.
[Nemnosti-GM] Why did Lurusiru Ula awaken, and why now? Why, indeed, was Their slumber presented to us all as death? How has Sanar's Bliss effectuated it?
[Nemnosti-GM] And these shards of memories, like a scattering of mosaic tiles, no more than a kind of a sense-experience.
[Nemnosti-GM] Or perhaps better said, to me, it is as if the flowing river briefly overran its banks, and now, in retreat, we are left, drying out, but transformed.
[Nemnosti-GM] As I said last night, I am not asking you to be silent on the matter. How could I, even if I wished to? I know the mysteries of the last day or so will be discussed for many years, by those far cleverer and wiser than I am.
[Nemnosti-GM] What we know of these intellectual details, well, it is frustrating if you are the sort of person for whom such a puzzle would be too much to bear. My own dear wife struggles in this way.
[Nemnosti-GM] But as for me, I choose to look at the faces of all those who revel today, who celebrate a happening that we could hardly have imagined. And then, I believe I shall take care of this fire, and then partake of another goblet of wine!

The team Awakens, and Lurusiru is introduced to the present

[Nemnosti-GM] You all Awaken.
[Nemnosti-GM] The soft rumbling of the aftershock ends, and you find yourself in forms over whose ownership you had almost forgotten. Larger, older, future forms, feeling too loose around your organs.
[Nemnosti-GM] The smell of cedar, of that strange forest, is overpowering, melancholy at first, but with regret dissipating into joy ... into Bliss.
[Nemnosti-GM] Three songs - the low deep stone-song of the womb, the light bubbling pitter-patter of spring waters, and the glorious clarion call of renewal above them all.
[Nemnosti-GM] Three saints, Alabaster, Cedar, and one other, newer, without yet its own form. Three songs: the low drone, the flute, and the bright melody that brings it into Coherence.
[Nemnosti-GM] Nemnu's presence is calming despite the immersive chaos around you. She appears, of course, as still as ever, but you are left with the sense that She is powerfully moved. You rarely get a glimpse of Her power over time, but here, in the midst of it all, as it washes over you, it is inescapable.
[Nemnosti-GM] Sanar is still next to you, and as its joyous crest falls off as Her Bliss ends, what is left behind the unstoppable wave is ... transformation, repurposing, new layers of silt and memory. Unfolding. You get the sense that She is amazed at Her own power.
[Nemnosti-GM] And of course, Lurusiru, no longer silent. They Awaken alongside all of you, and speak.
[Lurusiru] I am Forgotten, but not forgotten. And I forgive.
[Nemnu] Oh! Oh!
[Sanar] Wow.
* Jevai is trying to remember how to breathe
[Lurusiru] That was exhausting. Maybe time for a nap.
* Kuspir goes over to Ifa to check if she's all right.
* Izu feels himself settle into his old familiar body, familiar, but now seemingly ill-fitting. His hand go to his face, his chest. His eyes water with unknown emotion.
[Marga] ... my head hurts...
* Alai closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths, centering herself again
[Izu] Are we... Am I... me?
* Jevai huffs at lurisiru's 'joke' and tries to sit up
[Jevai] what happened?
[Jevai] was that.... real? true?
[Nemnu] It was.
[Izu] Is this?
[Nemnu] It is.
* Ifa looks around, getting her bearings, reaching for Kuspir's hand briefly to anchor herself in the present.
[Jevai] But.... It's not how things *were*... was it?
* Nemnu pauses.
[Nemnu] I don't think so.
[Alai] Is staggering what happened.

The team comes to the realization that their actions in the past have changed things, and Nemnu discusses Her power to shift into past timelines/courses

[Ifa] Is it not how they always have been, now?
* Kuspir holds Ifa's hand tightly
[Nemnu] I will not ask you all to revisit your Courses in light of all this. But yes ... this is what it means to jump from one tributary to another. It is a power that I have rarely used, because I am not in control of its outcomes.
* Izu looks at Alai and seems to want to reach out to her as well, but stops himself.
[Nemnu] It is like ... to willingly decide to break open a river's course ... one can do it, but one cannot control where it will end up, not really.
[Sanar] Wow.
[Alai] Is miracle you can even move tributaries... to be able to pick outcome would...
[Ifa] You have done this before?
[Nemnu] As long as you have no further questions for me ... yes, Ifa, I have.
[Nemnu] I suggest you try to reconcile the two times you now have within you, without asking me to give you a third to consider.
[Sanar] That was ... wow.
[Alai] How much has changed... how far has this reached?
* Ifa looks like she *really* wants to follow up on that, but acquiesces to Nemnu's request.
[Nemnu] I do not quite know, Alai.
* Alai looks around, mind still spinning from the magnitude of what has happened.
[Izu] (to Alai) Are you ok?
[Kuspir] What did people outside this room experience?
[Nemnu] That is a very interesting question. I'm sure we do not have that long before they start crashing in here to tell us.
* Alai looks hard at herself, and the people here, how they are dressed, how they look, for any discrepancies/changes
[Nemnosti-GM] (sure, make a Perception check, Alai)
[Alai] !roll 1d20+12
* Jevai rolls for Alai: [ 1d20+12 ] getting [ 3 ] which, after the modifier [ 12 ] totals [ 15 ].
[Nemnosti-GM] Everything looks normal, although your memories are pretty jumbled up - mentally, you feel quite transformed, with "new" knowledge you were not aware you were about to have, pre-installed inside you, awaiting your return to this body.
[Lurusiru] Well, I think I know some of you, but perhaps some introductions are in order.
[Lurusiru] I ... well, I'm Lurusiru.
[Jevai] I think.... we spoke. I'm Jevai
[Alai] Orient Alai Vegru. Is honor to finally meet you.
[Ifa] I'm Ifa. It's nice to...have met you?
[Izu] I am Izu... I think.
[Kuspir] Kuspir
[Marga] Uhhh... Marga?
[Sanar] And I am Sanar. I ... guess this is my fault?
[Nemnu] That is quite a word. Faults bring earthquakes, which bring change. And that is surely what you have done. But everyone has played a role here.
[Nemnu] Nothing you did, Sanar, alone, brought about the effects on the world-of-today.
[Nemnu] Indeed, it seems like six young acolytes played a much more significant role.
[Nemnu] And my beloved Oldoka-who-was-Elujen, of course.
[Lurusiru] You all have my gratitude for your role in my Awakening.
* Kuspir looks pained, thinking about Oldoka
[Marga] (q) I don't think I did anything... ].]
[Nemnosti-GM] You hear some commotion outside the chamber.
[Alai] I still have curiosities on the how of these events. Is best to grasp consequences first.

Voice Nalazh attempts to intrude into Lurusiru’s tomb area, and the group disperses to various tasks

[Nemnosti-GM] You hear Ghorgimbe's loud contralto arguing with ... it sounds like Voice Nalazh.
[Marga] oh. awkward.
[Jevai] MM.
[Nemnu] As we might expect ... some disorientation and confusion.
* Kuspir goes over and opens the door to see what is going on
[Nemnu] Izu, we will need to ensure that the three of us are returned to our customary places ... and we will need to find one for Cedar.
* Marga tries not to think about the stuff she knows about Ghorgimbe now
[Izu] Yes... of course...
[Izu] I'll make arrangements.
* Alai brushes over to Izu
[Nemnosti-GM] Kuspir, you look out the door.
[Nemnosti-GM] Ghorgimbe is standing astride the cave corridor, firmly planted against Voice Nalazh who is shouting at her, demanding to see Sanar Ula.
[Alai] [w] I will be fine... you be so as well.
[Nalazh] RIGHT. NOW.
[Ghorgimbe] And I said no.
[Kuspir] Problem out here?
* Izu looks at Alai and smiles, but there is a bit of sadness in it.
[Nalazh] The problem is that you are holding Her captive against Her will.
[Izu] [w] Thank you.
[Kuspir] No one's being held captive.
[Kuspir] Let me check if you can come in.
* Kuspir closes the door again.
[Kuspir] Voice Nalazh wants to see Sanar Ula. Is that acceptable?
* Izu nods and breathes out, seeming to pull himself back together by sheer force of will.
[Nemnu] Yes, I suppose that is fine. Izu, perhaps that is the first order of business, to return Sanar Ula to Her kin.
* Jevai 's mind is whirring, trying to guess at how things will be different
[Alai] [w] you have job to do. We can talk after.
* Izu nods to Alai.
[Nemnu] I will be fine here for a brief time. Ensure that the stoneguards escort Her safely to the Limping Hall.
* Ifa is just trying to observe everything and everyone, still a bit overwhelmed.
[Nalazh] Sanarosti.
[Kuspir] All right.
[Nemnu] We are going to have to talk about names.
[Nemnu] But not now. For now, the business at hand.
[Izu] Voice Nalazh, will you please help me escort Sanar Ula out of this place?
[Nalazh] Yes, of course.
* Ghorgimbe stares at all of you, as if about to say something ... then thinks better of it, and shakes her head.
[Izu] Thank you.
* Ghorgimbe stares super hard at Marga.
[Izu] My lady, I will deal with what needs doing and make arrangements for You and Lurusiru Ula. I will check on you shortly.
[Jevai] would you like... any of us to stay, honoured Saints?
[Marga] ...
[Kuspir] Do you need me to go with you, Izu?
[Nemnu] I think ... I think I would like to be alone with my Cedar for a time. We have much to catch up on.
* Ifa nods.
[Izu] If you would, like, I would be glad for the help, Kuspir.
[Lurusiru] Thank you. All of you.
* Jevai nods, trying to figure out where to go to start..... maybe her toom, and to seek her Upwards, if he is even here?
* Kuspir looks over to Ifa
[Kuspir] [q] Let's talk later.
[Alai] Lets see what is waiting for us.
[Jevai] Yes.
* Ifa nods again.
* Kuspir will then go to help Izu with moving Sanar Ula safely, expecting there is probably some commotion that will be happening outside
* Alai will head out to find out.
* Ifa does likewise.
[Nemnosti-GM] OK, everyone please let me know what exactly you are doing / where exactly you are going first.
[Kuspir] (taking Sanar Ula back to Limping Hall)
[Nemnosti-GM] Izu and Kuspir, you are going back with Ghorgimbe to escort Nalazh and Sanar.
[Ifa] (trying to find my mom, first)
[Nemnosti-GM] Others?
* Izu will help Nalazh get Sanar Ula settled, then arrange for the other two saints to be returned to Nemnu's quarters for the time being until we find a proper place for Ulusiru.
[Marga] (I guess I will look for Rechegoko :x)
* Jevai will also go put and help deal with anything immediate, and otherwise, maybe check her own room and then try and find ED
[Alai] (I'll head to my room first and decide based on that)

Izu and Kuspir accompany Ghorgimbe to take Sanar back to the Limping Hall

[Nemnosti-GM] All right I'll take Izu and Kuspir first.
* Nalazh seems very cranky as you walk out together.
[Kuspir] What's troubling you, Voice Nalazh?
[Nalazh] Nothing.
* Ghorgimbe shakes her head at Kuspir as if to say 'will explain later'.
[Izu] Good. What has happened since we were in the there?
[Ghorgimbe] It was only fifteen seconds at most, between the song and the earthquake.
[Izu] Fifteen seconds? Truly?
[Ghorgimbe] I mean ... maybe thirty?
[Ghorgimbe] I wasn't counting.
[Izu] How quickly the world changes.
[Nemnosti-GM] As you emerge into the courtyard of the ulajeta, you see stunned people sort of coming out to see what is happening. There are a few loose stones here and there that suggest, as Ghorgimbe suggested, that the earthquake was, in fact, real, though surely small.
[Nemnosti-GM] You all feel it, though, the aftermath, or the hangover, of Sanar's song.
[Nemnosti-GM] Izu and Kuspir, you also feel ... overfull, as if you have eaten two slightly different meals in their totality and are thinking about how they taste together.
[Nemnosti-GM] People are definitely staring at you (or presumably, Sanar) as you wheel her across the way and towards Ozo's Gate.
[Izu] Are You ok, Sanar Ula? I hope that did not take too much out of you.
[Sanar] Oh, uhh ... yeah, I think so. It doesn't ... "take". Not like that.
[Sanar] But it's a lot to absorb. The kind of effect it has.
[Izu] That's good. It will certainly take some getting used to, I'm sure.
* Kuspir keeps an eye on the surroundings, trying to take in anything that seems unusual or different
[Izu] You have a great power. I hope you will allow Nemnu Ula to teach you to use it well.
[Nemnosti-GM] (Kuspir, give me a perception check)
[Kuspir] !roll 1d20+20
* Jevai rolls for Kuspir: [ 1d20+20 ] getting [ 17 ] which, after the modifier [ 20 ] totals [ 37 ].
[Sanar] Thank you, Voice Izu. I intend to.
[Nemnosti-GM] Well, Kuspir, mostly everything looks the same. There's Old Hal, and the Lanky Stones, and Eng-dur's cottage ... wait a minute ...
[Nemnosti-GM] Yes, that's different.
[Nemnosti-GM] Also, far in the distance, you think you can hear Oldogai's rushing stream.
[Kuspir] (but I do know that it's Eng-dur's cottage? like I understand both that it wasn't there before, and what it is now?)
[Nemnosti-GM] Yes, it takes a minute to put it all together, but yes, that's exactly right.
[Nemnosti-GM] You have always known that Eng-dur has a cottage here, near the Lanky Stones.
* Kuspir takes that in, thinking about what it means
[Nemnosti-GM] You can return Sanar Ula back to the Sanari contingent, without further incident. Ghorgimbe still seems very unsettled, though perhaps your own face has that same look. It's just unusual on her, given how impassive she normally is.
[Kuspir] Can we talk for a minute?
* Kuspir asks her after we've taken care of the saint
[Ghorgimbe] ... Sure.
* Kuspir will go aside somewhere with her
[Nemnosti-GM] (with Izu or no?)
[Kuspir] (I meant just with Ghorgimbe)

Kuspir talks to Ghorgimbe about what everyone experienced during the brief interval while the team was in the past, and about Ghorgimbe’s experiences alongside Marga

[Nemnosti-GM] Izu, when you're done, you have other saints to go take care of, leaving Kuspir with Ghorgimbe.
[Ghorgimbe] What is it?
[Kuspir] You go first.
[Kuspir] What happened while we were in there, and why was Nalazh so upset?
[Ghorgimbe] While you were in there? We were all overwhelmed. I think ... whatever happened, it seems to have happened to a lot of people, but especially to those who were in the temple.
[Ghorgimbe] I don't know what Nalazh experienced. Joy, I hope. I mean ... I don't see people storming to get to Sanar Ula, which was my primary concern, after what happened the last time with her Bliss.
[Ghorgimbe] But ... I mean ... it was incredible, rigth?
* Kuspir nods
[Kuspir] Yes, that's one way to describe it
[Ghorgimbe] Anyway, as for why he's upset. Nalazh was being an asshole. I had just come out of ... well, whatever it was. I probably didn't help much.
[Ghorgimbe] He tried to rush me, I pushed him down. Not too hard.
[Kuspir] Sorry you had to deal with that.
* Ghorgimbe shrugs.
[Ghorgimbe] Honestly I was worried we were going to have another situation like Detevus.
[Ghorgimbe] He should count himself lucky he still has all his appendages.
* Kuspir nods
[Ghorgimbe] I can think of at least one I could have snicked off him without too much trouble.
[Kuspir] Well, fortunately it didn't come to that.
* Kuspir says with a straight face
[Ghorgimbe] ... Kuspir? What happened in there, really? Why do I ... why am I ... I don't know ... Marga?
[Kuspir] If I knew exactly, I would tell you. From my perspective, what happened was we found ourselves in the past, in the bodies of younger versions of people we know here and now, and went through perhaps a week of their lives at that time. I think we changed things that happened. And when we came back to ourselves, the present, as it is now, is different than when we left. I don't know how,
[Kuspir] or what all the differences might be.
[Ghorgimbe] ... oh. So Marga experienced ... that week of my life, when Oldoka died?
[Kuspir] Yes
[Ghorgimbe] ... oh.
* Ghorgimbe seems upset.
[Kuspir] how do you remember it happening?
[Kuspir] Oldoka's death, I mean.
[Kuspir] I don't mean you need to tell me everything. I'm sure it's upsetting to remember. I just mean... in the most simple terms, how do you remember it?
[Ghorgimbe] The official line is that she died of her illness, there was a hemeshor attempt, it failed.
[Kuspir] but unofficially?
[Ghorgimbe] ... It was you, wasn't it?
[Ghorgimbe] You did it.
[Kuspir] I was with her, but I didn't do it.
[Ghorgimbe] I mean ... you were the reason she couldn't come back.
[Kuspir] oh... yes. that part, yes, that was me.
* Ghorgimbe embraces you, in the kind of way you've never seen her embrace everyone, and she sobs into your shoulder.
* Kuspir hugs her tightly
[Kuspir] I'm sorry.
[Kuspir] I did what I thought was best for her.
[Ghorgimbe] You ... this was like Azolte?
* Kuspir nods
[Ghorgimbe] Oh, Ancestors ... I'm so sorry you had to do it, but I'm glad you were there.
[Ghorgimbe] I don't think I could have. Not then, of course, for sure. But not now either.
[Ghorgimbe] We all loved her, you know.
[Kuspir] I know. I felt that love too.
[Ghorgimbe] So ... you changed time. Well, not you personally. Nemnu's power. And so now ... things are different?
[Kuspir] Yes. I don't know in what ways yet, exactly, but I can already see some signs of changes from what I knew before.
[Ghorgimbe] I will need to talk to Marga, once things settle down.
* Kuspir nods
[Ghorgimbe] For now, we have a new saint here to make room for.
[Kuspir] All right.
[Ghorgimbe] Thank you ,Kuspir.
[Kuspir] You're welcome. I think.
* Kuspir will leave her to her business and go check on his kids next.

Marga goes up to Rechegoko’s camp, to find the great stone construction of the tower Lurusilt, built in anticipation of Lurusiru’s Awakening, and meets little baby Oldoka Lurusiri

[Nemnosti-GM] Marga, your first instinct, upon coming back, is to go up and find Rechegoko. You fly up and over the valley, where Oldogai now rushes down, right on the path from Nemnosti to Rechegoko's hut, and the old ruins, or rather ... the new temple?
* Marga looks at it with big eyes
[Marga] (so he lives out here anyway? he just decided to pitch up next to the temple?)
[Nemnosti-GM] You definitely remember this great stone construction ... but also, the little place where you and your husband used to hang out and talk about life. If that place was there, it's gone now, in the shadow of ... this new place. It is a tower, around which groves of cedar bushes have been planted. This is the new ulajeta, Lurusilt, built from the stones of the old Lurusiru Osti. Awaiting
[Nemnosti-GM] Their return.
[Nemnosti-GM] The part of you that remembers this place recalls that Rechegoko lives out here, especially ever since he joined the Lurusiri.
* Rechegoko steps out of the tower, smiling broadly, and waves at you while you're still in flight.
* Marga lands and returns to human form. SHe looks around, disoriented.
* Rechegoko is dressed in finery, with an open robe of green cinched around his waist.
* Rechegoko embraces you and gives you a big kiss!
[Marga] (finery??)
[Nemnosti-GM] (definitely, he's like, dressed up and all fancy)
* Marga clings to him far longer than is necessary.
[Marga] ...
[Rechegoko] What's wrong?
[Marga] I uh. I dunno
[Marga] Lurusiru Ula...
[Marga] They woke up
[Rechegoko] Yes, isn't it wonderful? Makes all our work worthwhile.
[Nemnosti-GM] The memory starts to flood back - you helped to make this place, although Rechegoko and Voice Rupun did most of the work. It's been in the making for a while now.
[Marga] Yes... so much... work
[Marga] I just... my head feels too small and my skin feels too big
[Rechegoko] Derador went off. I knew the Witness was right.
[Marga] The what?
[Nemnosti-GM] You know those two terms, Marga, you're sure you do, it's just ... weird.
[Nemnosti-GM] (make a Knowledge:local check)
[Marga] !roll 1d20+11
* Jevai rolls for Marga: [ 1d20+11 ] getting [ 12 ] which, after the modifier [ 11 ] totals [ 23 ].
[Nemnosti-GM] Derador is the standing stone that the Witness erected next to the waterfall, Oldogai. It is meant to herald the return of Cedar to Their rightful place.
[Nemnosti-GM] And the Witness, of course, is your friend Eng-dur Lurusiri.
[Marga] Sorry.. I just... when it happened... did something to my head
[Marga] I can't think right, I...
* Rechegoko looks down at himself.
[Rechegoko] Oh, my clothes. Sorry. I won't make a habit of it.
[Marga] What?
[Rechegoko] I just mean ... it's not like I wear this every day.
[Marga] Your clothes are fine, you, you look real nice
* Marga says, looking possibly in danger of bursting into tears
[Rechegoko] I feel super awkward.
[Marga] and I'm... so happy... for everyone here
* Rechegoko smiles, and kisses you.
[Marga] Rechegoko... are we for real married? Did we have a wedding
[Rechegoko] you mean like a holy wedding here at the temple? No, we were waiting for you to get back.
[Rechegoko] I mean we got feather married up at Momichas, of course.
[Marga] Get back?
[Rechegoko] I mean, we knew you were going to try to bring Them back. The ritual or whatever it was you were doing.
[Marga] Oh yeah. Yeah.
[Marga] I ... I needa sit down
[Rechegoko] And we said that when we get like, Corps married, we wanted to wait for Them to be here.
* Marga sits down on the ground, holding her head
[Marga] ...Did She take our names? What about my Dad?
[Marga] I can't remember... can I???
* Rechegoko looks worried.
[Rechegoko] Your dad can suck it.
[Marga] He can?
* Marga starts laughing and crying at the same time.
[Rechegoko] What's he going to do, fuck with the Forgotten?
[Marga] Okay.
* Marga gets up on her knees and hugs Rechegoko around the waist.
[Marga] My dad CAN suck it.
[Nemnosti-GM] From inside the tower, you hear the sound of a baby crying.
[Marga] What... what the
[Marga] There's a BABY?
* Rupun comes out from the tower holding a little baby.
[Marga] that's not MY baby right???
* Rechegoko laughs and laughs and laughs.
* Marga gets to her feet.
[Marga] (WHOSE BABY IS THAT)
[Rupun] Oh, hello, Marga. I was wondering when you'd get here.
[Rupun] The Witness is still back at Nemnosti, I think, to await Them.
[Rupun] And no, of course that's not your baby. Not yet, anyway.
[Marga] what?
[Marga] Well whose is it then?
[Nemnosti-GM] You remember it now, through shadows at first, then becoming more tangible.
[Nemnosti-GM] The baby's name is Oldoka Lurusiri, and she was adopted through the tide here at the temple.
[Marga] (By whom)
[Nemnosti-GM] By Voice Rupun. It's pretty common, actually, for temples to take in corpseborn kids.
[Nemnosti-GM] Oldoka doesn't have adoptive parents yet, exactly. Though it has been on Rechegoko's mind, you know.
[Rupun] She's been fussy all morning, but when It happened, she settled right down.
[Marga] Weird...
[Rupun] Come in, we're preparing for Their arrival. I mean ... moreso.
* Rupun says ebulliently.
* Marga reaches for Rechegoko's hand.
[Marga] .. ok :)

Alai talks to Naka and reckons with changes to knowledge about the nurus, the organ of Unkindness, and Naka’s new writings and expertise on the subject

[Nemnosti-GM] Alai, after heading out from the Inner Temple, your head is exceptionally muddled. Your nurus is itching incredibly ... wait, your nurus? Naka will have to ... wait, what? You find yourself standing in the central dome of Carver's Hall, trying to work out all this stuff, these two sets of memories, so similar in so many ways, and yet ...
[Nemnosti-GM] Eventually the thought occurs to you that whatever part of you thinks you should go see Naka may be right or may be wrong, but it seemed like a good idea.
* Alai will head there, then
[Nemnosti-GM] Naka's new laboratory and library have come together exceptionally well. They took down a wall, built new reinforced doors and locks, and magical protections beyond almost anywhere else in the ulajeta. You remember its grand opening, just a few months ago.
[Nemnosti-GM] You recall that your palmprint will give you access - you're on a short list for such a privilege.
[Nemnosti-GM] You enter, and see Naka working at her long table on some sort of process, with Ghoko running here and there to retrieve things for her. She looks up as you enter.
[Naka] I wondered who would get here first, you or the kids. I guess they're busy with other things.
[Alai] Is easier for me to simply walk where I want. You understand why I am here.
[Naka] Of course. I've been waiting for it for thirty-eight years.
[Naka] I didn't know the day or the time of course - but we've all known, I mean, the six, the five of us, that it was coming.
[Naka] How's your nurus feeling?
[Alai] (my what?)
[Alai] (do I know what that is?)
[Nemnosti-GM] (give me a K:arcana)
[Alai] !roll 1d20+19
* Jevai rolls for Alai: [ 1d20+19 ] getting [ 3 ] which, after the modifier [ 19 ] totals [ 22 ].
[Nemnosti-GM] Your nurus is of course, the hindbrain, the new organ that has been the core of Naka's work the last twenty years or more. The nurus is the seat of nuruchai, Unkindness, or dis-organ-ization.
[Nemnosti-GM] All the acolytes at least learn that much, but of course those such as yourself, and others trained in Source, learn from Naka's Great Book of the Nurus.
[Nemnosti-GM] You also recall that here is where Naka keeps all her samples of Unkindness, except of course for Fracture. The vials from Ifa, from Bantomis, and from Oldoka all rest here, their presence unknown to all but a select few.
[Alai] My mind has questions I have been looking for answers for, that I have already learned. I am the embodiment of nurus at this moment. That is how I feel.
[Naka] Oh ... are you all right?
* Naka laughs.
[Naka] Want a drink? I have spirits.
[Alai] Is not making me worse, so yes.
* Naka gets Ghoko to get one for you, and for her.
[Naka] The good news is that with Lurusiru's return, that will be the story. A long-lost Saint reawakening.
[Naka] But as I have learned from my conversations with Nemnu, the real importance may be our advances in knowledge of nuruchai ... Unkindness ... Abyss ... the name doesn't matter, I suppose.
[Naka] And that, we hope, will remain quiet, for now.
[Naka] Honestly even the others don't really understand. I mean, I tell Zaren things, but what does he know? I didn't marry him for his brains - either one of them.
[Naka] Eng-dur, of course, is a different story.
[Alai] When I think of the vastness of what has happened... I am adrift in the ocean on a raft, waiting to be swallowed by the waves... I refuse to accept that.
[Naka] It's natural. We aren't meant to have the experience that you've had.
[Alai] You could have warned me... or did you? I suppose it may have happened.
[Naka] The way She would explain it to me is that I ... the I who could have warned you ... didn't know what to warn you about, until now.
[Naka] Retrospectively, consider yourself warned.
[Alai] (do I still feel the hunger, the emptiness, even muted from Abyss?)
[Nemnosti-GM] It's all still there, Alai. If anything is different, it's just that you have labels for it, a kind of more cerebral understanding of its effect on your organs, on your mind. You are still, perhaps inevitably, Abyssal.
[Alai] So I am here now. You have learned much over the years before I even dabbled. Do we have a copy of the book?
[Naka] My book? Of course. But you mean the Disc of Tethers? Not yet.
[Alai] Yes the Disc of Tethers... it is too much to ask when changing the world to at least have one inconvenience answered, I guess.
[Naka] We didn't have ... couldn't have ... an understanding of what we were looking for. Unless She told us, and She keeps her own counsel when it comes to these things.
[Naka] I think She has been afraid to change things too much, too soon, or in too strange a way.
[Naka] Lest anything She do prevent Lurusiru from Awakening.
[Alai] Three Saints in one place. How much attention are we bringing down on us now?
[Naka] That is certainly a discussion that has been had. It will be a difficulty. The Emperor will find out soon.
[Naka] Voice Rupun has been working on the new ulajeta for Lurusiru for a while. And we have been pushing Imas on his designs for Sanar's ulajeta down in Zhustir.
[Naka] But none of that will be very soon - so for now, we have the danger of the moment. And so Unkindness remains our greatest strength and greatest secret here. We know so much now.
[Alai] Architecture takes much. Longer term answers, but good to claim to.
[Alai] I will re-aquaint myself with your writtings and reset my course.
[Alai] Is there something immediately pressing that I need know about, or should I say reminded of?
[Nemnosti-GM] It all starts filling in now, rushing in with the breaking of a dam. You have been reading the Book of the Nurus for years now, with Naka's reflections on the hindbrain and Unkindness. But your own work over the last year or two, and your retrieval of the two additional samples of Unkindness to parallel Oldoka's, now decades old, have advanced matters considerably.
[Naka] So there's something I have been trying to remember, about back then, that you can remind me.
[Naka] At that time, were Zaren and I sleeping together? I'm just thinking of the twins. I don't want things to be ... even more awkward. I don't think we were. Were we?
[Alai] It is quite fresh for me, so I will aid in how I can.
[Naka] I wrote so much down, about Oldoka, about the things that happened, but I forgot to make a note of when we started fucking.
[Alai] (I dont think I have any first hand information on that but I think I would have known if they were?)
[Nemnosti-GM] (you're pretty sure Ingo would have talked to Zaren and known, if they were)
[Naka] I just don't want to have to ask them myself. You understand.
[Alai] No, at least from the short period I am aware of.
[Naka] Well, that's a small mercy.
[Alai] Zaren was selfish in bed anyway.
[Naka] Ghoko, you didn't hear that.
[Ghoko] Right. Gotcha.
[Naka] I never really inquired what the three of you, ah, them got up to.
[Alai] Boys will be boys.
* Alai smiles
[Naka] I'm sure this is all a lot.
[Alai] I also have a better appreciation of the form... which sparks some ideas.
[Alai] But that is not for now.
[Naka] No, though it can't wait too long. We have the initiative now, but can't take that for granted.
[Alai] So this Disc should still be coming then? or at least a copy?
[Naka] That's my understanding. We haven't involved Ingo in it, just because ... we need to keep him in reserve for now. He needs to protect his position. But Nemnu has ... had ... has great confidence in your work so far.
* Alai nods
[Alai] Then lets keep going
* Naka nods.

Ifa and Izu visit their parents, reunite, discuss the past and the present, and learn the unfortunate news that Zurusha was never resurrected

[Nemnosti-GM] All right, later on, after you've sorted out your various obligations to Saints and whatnot, you finally get the chance to visit with your parents at home, Ifa and Izu.
[Zaren] Kids!
* Izu stands awkwardly in the doorway.
[Izu] Hello... father.
* Zaren gives you a big bearhug
* Ifa unabashedly goes to hug her mom and dad.
[Izu] Ack!
* Izu hugs him back after a moment.
[Naka] So, the wayward travelers return. How was your vacation?
[Izu] I'm pretty sure you already know.
[Ifa] It was...well, I think you know how-
[Ifa] What he said.
[Izu] You were there.
[Naka] Well, it was a long time ago. Mostly I remember Oldoka, from those days.
* Ifa gives her mom a sympathetic look.
[Ifa] I'm really sorry. I know it's far in the past for you, but...
[Zaren] I remember those awful mushrooms.
* Ifa hugs her again.
[Izu] It was so strange. Dad... I still remember BEING you. Not just like controlling you or watching you, but actually being you.
[Zaren] Checking out the equipment, so to speak.
* Izu turns BRIGHT red at that.
[Ifa] I knew you were smarter than all of us put together, mom, but...it's a very different thing to experience it.
[Izu] Ah....
[Naka] That's sweet of you to say.
[Zaren] Also correct.
[Ifa] I want to ask what's different, but I don't really know how.
[Ifa] That problem of not knowing what you don't know.
[Izu] We do know it. Kind of.
[Izu] I've felt memories that aren't mine. Or rather, they are but... a different me.
[Zaren] Maybe we should be asking you what you know.
[Naka] That past doesn't matter anymore. Not really.
[Naka] And Nemnu has assured us that most things of no consequence are unchanged.
[Naka] The water still goes downhill, and most of it reaches the delta regardless of the path.
[Izu] If there's one thing I've learned from this, it's that there is nothing of no consequence.
[Izu] I'm just so glad to see you both again.
[Zaren] We're glad it all worked out. It did all work out, right?
[Izu] I think so. As well as it could.
[Ifa] You've both had longer to live with the consequences. What do you think?
[Zaren] I'm still old, ugly, and my knees hurt.
[Naka] Ah, your parts still all work, you old coot. You'll do.
[Izu] Mom, I'm not sure how to ask this but... Eng Dur. Is he... are you...?
[Naka] What about him?
[Izu] Exactly
[Ifa] (to Izu) Does it matter?
[Izu] I suppose not.
[Ifa] (Do we remember him being around more?)
[Nemnosti-GM] Yes, Eng-dur's been around your entire life. He doesn't spend all his time at the ulajeta, but he does keep a cottage here. More recently he's been adopted into the Lurusiri, after long conversations with Rupun, who of course was also very involved back in 731. He teaches the acolytes sometimes, and definitely is involved in Naka's research.
[Nemnosti-GM] He's like a friendly weird uncle who comes over for dinner every now and again.
[Izu] I suppose I just... I didn't really know him before.
[Izu] It will take some adjustment.
[Naka] Well, you do now!
* Ifa laughs.
[Ifa] Yes, *now* we've known "Uncle" Eng-dur our whole lives.
[Zaren] Imagine how it's been for us, holding it all in all these years. Knowing about Lurusiru, knowing about the Unkind thingy, all that stuff.
[Zaren] Knowing about you.
[Naka] You know, Nemnu told us which one was which. Otherwise we might have never known. Or thought you were Zurusha.
[Ifa] Yeah, that part feels less like Unfolding and more like a loop, but what is is. For now.
[Ifa] I was wondering that.
[Naka] It's called Unspooling.
[Naka] Unfolding, but for time.
[Naka] You'd have to talk to Her, time is not my area of expertise.
* Ifa nods.
[Ifa] I'm sure we will.
[Zaren] You kids are all right, though ... right? We've been worried.
[Ifa] Wait. Zurusha. Is she still...?
[Naka] Yes, I'm sorry, she's still dead.
* Zaren looks very sad.
[Ifa] Wait, still *dead*?
[Naka] ... yes.
* Izu turns pale.
[Izu] ...what?
[Ifa] Not shoror?
* Ifa looks stricken.
* Zaren shakes his head.
[Zaren] Not shoror.
[Izu] ...but...
* Ifa tries to remember this new timeline.
[Ifa] Why...why not?
[Ifa] What happened?
[Zaren] You have to remember, that we ... us, and Hojon, we knew a little of what you knew, from your ... from the other ... I don't know how to explain it.
[Ifa] Tributary, let's say, from what Nemnu Ula told us.
[Naka] It was going to be wrong, so ... we didn't go through with it.
[Ifa] What do you mean "it was going to be wrong"?
[Ifa] She was still *here*, in her way.
[Naka] We didn't decide it lightly. And we consulted with her.
[Izu] I... we never even said goodbye....
[Ifa] She *chose* to stay an abas?
* Ifa reaches for Izu's hand.
* Izu allows Ifa to take it.
[Ifa] I mean, I guess we could still talk to her...
[Naka] Any day you want to.
[Naka] Kuspir does as well, or ... he will have done, or ... you understand.
[Ifa] That's...honestly more than we had before, in a way.
[Naka] The general awareness at the ulajeta is that we tried and it failed. Like ... with Oldoka.
[Naka] A couple people who have talked to her since, know that she chose not to be resurrected. Because of course, an ancestor can't lie when asked a question.
* Ifa looks more shattered by this than pretty much anything else, but is trying to keep it together.
[Izu] This... this can't be right.
[Ifa] I mean, if she decided on this course, it's her right.
[Zaren] I'm sorry, kids. We had the opportunity to respect her wishes, and we did.
[Zaren] It was so hard on Kuspir, who didn't understand ... until now.
[Izu] I... I need time to think. I'm sorry.
[Izu] This is... a lot.
[Ifa] I will do my best not to question it, but how do you *know* it would have gone wrong? Things could have been different this time. It was a roll of the dice, no?
[Naka] We consulted with Nemnu, of course. She does not see that the outcome would have been changed by anything that went before it.
* Ifa nods slowly.
[Ifa] I can understand that intellectually.
[Ifa] But now, for Izu and I, we *just* lost our sister.
* Naka nods.
[Ifa] Like he said, this is a lot.
[Naka] I can see that - but of course we had no way, really, to understand that, years ago.
[Ifa] Right, of course.
[Ifa] I think...I think I need to go. But I am happy to see you, and I'm glad, well, that you're all right. I know we just saw each other, realistically, but it is, for us, a whole new world.
[Naka] There's a lot of work to be done.
[Izu] Ifa... when you're ready... we have to go talk to her.
[Zaren] I have saint duty tonight.
[Ifa] (to Naka) What work specifically?
[Naka] Well, in the immediate sense, Lurusiru Awakening after such a long slumber - it's going to attract a lot of attention.
[Zaren] We've known for decades that They were going to awaken sometime around now, but others didn't. Nemnu kept a very tight lid on that knowledge. We don't believe that other saints, not even Borgegus, not even the Prime, knew They were asleep.
[Ifa] Right. Of course.
[Naka] We'll talk soon, kids.
[Ifa] Are there immediate preparations I specifically need to make, today?
[Naka] Not today, no.
[Ifa] All right.

Ifa and Kuspir talk about what happens with them now that they’re back but Zurusha is really dead

* Ifa will leave her parents' house and go track down Kuspir.
* Kuspir will be at his house, trying to reorient himself.
* Ifa enters, looking a little out of it.
[Ifa] Fuck, I'm sorry, I should have knocked.
[Kuspir] No, it's fine... I mean it's not fine. But it's good.
* Ifa seems like she wants to rush to Kuspir but is holding back, unsure.
* Kuspir shakes his head, trying to puzzle out what he's trying to say
* Kuspir rises and goes over to you
[Kuspir] I wanted to see you all day. It's so much to take in.
* Kuspir puts his arms out as an offering if you want to hug.
* Ifa gives mixed snicker and sniffle at that. She seems on the verge of tears.
* Ifa goes to hug Kuspir, but tears are definitely flowing once she does.
* Kuspir hugs you tightly
[Ifa] ...She's gone.
* Kuspir nods
* Ifa says into Kuspir's chest after a moment.
[Kuspir] It's not ... what I would have decided. It's not what I wanted - I can still feel some of the anger from back then, when I reach for it. Does that make sense? It's like it happened to someone else, but also to me.
* Ifa nods.
[Ifa] I'm not sure if my anger is from this tributary or that one, but...it's definitely there.
[Ifa] Also shame and sorrow and regret.
[Kuspir] But now.. I think I can't hold it against your parents or Hojon or any of them that I blamed at the time. It's hard to reconcile the two streams though.
[Ifa] I know.
[Kuspir] Even if she wasn't the same as before, she still had a life - she still had things she loved and could enjoy. We could still talk through letters....
[Ifa] It's not something I ever wanted, and now we've lost her, *truly* lost her...
* Kuspir is on the verge of breaking down too.
* Ifa hugs tighter.
[Ifa] I'm so sorry, Kuspir.
[Kuspir] I'm sorry too.
[Ifa] I don't know what to do now.
[Kuspir] I keep thinking, if they could change that, why couldn't they have saved her? But I suppose they didn't know... they couldn't have stopped an accident from happening.
[Kuspir] it feels like ... they had just enough knowledge and not enough all at the same time.
[Ifa] I asked the same thing.
[Ifa] Mom said Nemnu Ula told them She couldn't see it turning out differently, and they asked Zurusha what she wanted.
[Ifa] After the accident, I mean.
[Kuspir] I need to talk to her, when I can...
* Ifa nods.
[Ifa] Izu and I were planning to, as well.
[Kuspir] I mean I have. I know I have. But I need to ... again. Now. For me.
[Ifa] This you. The...combined you.
* Kuspir nods
[Kuspir] maybe that will help, a little.
* Kuspir leans against you, arms still around you.
[Ifa] I would like to hope so, but...
[Ifa] Why am I afraid to let go?
[Kuspir] Ifa... I don't know what to say except, I love you. Still. Again? But if you feel differently, now, because things have changed, I wouldn't hold it against you.
[Ifa] No, no, of course that hasn't changed. I love you, too, still-again.
* Kuspir lets out a sigh of relief
[Ifa] I just...does it mean something different now? Not as much to us, but will it to others?
[Ifa] Should I even be worrying about that right now?
[Ifa] Were we together along this path? Is there someone else waiting for you? For me?
[Ifa] I don't have any answers.
[Kuspir] It could change things, I suppose. I have thought about it, at least as much as I could. I imagine that it impacts you more... if people might have pushed you to leave the church and marry, maybe? I don't know what the expectations would have been...
* Ifa nods.
[Kuspir] but maybe, at the least, it would mean we didn't have to keep things secret anymore. or.... again. I still don't know how to think about that.
[Ifa] I think I'm going to have to talk to Nemnu Ula quite a bit. She knows more of this...Unspooling, my mother called it.
[Kuspir] maybe for them - for the people who were always here, in this stream - it will be like we just got together now. I don't know.
* Ifa nods.
[Ifa] I feel guilty having any relief that it might be easier.
* Kuspir nods
[Kuspir] You asked if there was someone else... I can kind of remember there was something with Alai, but it feels like that ended some time ago.
* Ifa laughs hollowly.
[Ifa] Well, she has had a thing for you for a while. :)
[Kuspir] Yes.. I turned her down when she made her interest known, but I guess this me didn't have as much of a reason to...
* Kuspir shakes his head a bit
[Kuspir] If it turned out there was someone else for you, I would .... well, it would depend, I suppose, on what you wanted, and how things stood with them, but I would try to make space for that.
* Ifa looks up at Kuspir with a smirk and a raised eyebrow, tearstreaks still on her cheeks.
[Ifa] 'Make space', huh?
[Kuspir] I mean if you were still with them! whatever happened in the past is the past.
* Kuspir tries to explain, blushing
* Ifa chuckles genuinely.
[Ifa] Everything is still a bit blurry.
* Kuspir nods

Jevai talks to Eng-dur in his little cottage that has now been here for decades, is reunited with Sprig(!), and learns that Rogra is now her Pebble

[Nemnosti-GM] Jevai, you're setting out to find Eng-Dur.
[Nemnosti-GM] You head out into the courtyard of the ulajeta almost unthinkingly. It is a strange sensation; your body has the memory of this and is guiding you forward. This isn't how you thought you would be going.
[Nemnosti-GM] On the east side of the compound, well south of Old Hal and the Lanky Stones is Eng-dur's cottage, sitting where it always (?) has been.
* Jevai frowns but keeps going
[Nemnosti-GM] Most of the structure is made of the same limestone that comes out of the alabaster quarries that dot the landscape around the ulajeta, and from which the Inner and Outer Caves are made. But here and there, Eng-dur has placed a slab of the hard basalt of the Ghengom in the masonry, creating a strange mosaic effect.
[Jevai] Is he for sure still Upward to me?
[Nemnosti-GM] He is definitely for sure still your Upward.
[Nemnosti-GM] Little well-trimmed cedar bushes grow alongside the structure's foundations, along with small purple flowers. The high chimney is puffing away, and there's a warm aroma of some kind of stew from inside.
* Jevai will try and see what memories she can draw on from this tributary
[Nemnosti-GM] All right, give me Knowledge: local.
* Jevai rolls [ 1d20+15 ] getting [ 17 ] which, after the modifier [ 15 ] totals [ 32 ]
[Nemnosti-GM] Well of course everyone knows that Eng-dur is the caretaker of the Lanky Stones, as well as other sigillant monuments and glyphs in the vicinity of the Pardopasu.
[Nemnosti-GM] You and he have had long talks about it, since his return from the Shallow. He was definitely there for a long time, same as before.
[Jevai] (does he still eat dirt)
[Nemnosti-GM] He still loves to eat gemstones, and dirt, when he has to.
[Jevai] . o O (Why does thst feel liek a relief?)
[Nemnosti-GM] He's much more integrated into the life of the ulajeta, teaching acolytes about sigillant things occasionally. But he spends a lot of time in the Ghengom, both in the high hills, and with his new friends the Lurusiri, whose ranks he has joined over the last little while.
[Nemnosti-GM] He and Rupun are fast friends - they are very similar in so many ways.
* Jevai will approach the little cottage
[Nemnosti-GM] All right. Going in?
[Jevai] Upward?
* Jevai will call out before entering
[Nemnosti-GM] The door opens and you are bowled over by something that hits you in the knees.
[Sprig] Arf! Arf!
* Sprig licks your face.
[Eng-dur] Settle down, Sprig.
[Eng-dur] We're all happy to see her.
[Jevai] ahh, Sprig
[Jevai] Do you remember me too?
[Jevai] (I assume Sprig is no longer a puppy?)
* Sprig definitely seems to remember you.
* Sprig looks exactly - and I mean exactly - as you saw her last time, in 731.
* Jevai will make the dog sit nicely before getting scritches and welcomes
[Jevai] you haven't changed at all.
[Eng-dur] He's been waiting for you to get back.
[Jevai] and you?
[Eng-dur] Good, good! We heard you were back so we put on the stewpot. Of course I'll have my usual.
[Jevai] How did you hear?
[Eng-dur] Derador.
[Jevai] pardon?
[Nemnosti-GM] It comes back to you with the name. Derador, the delay-becoming, is a standing stone that Eng-dur placed up by Oldogai years ago, to sound upon the Awakening of Lurusiru Ula.
[Jevai] ahh, yes
[Nemnosti-GM] Oldogai being, of course, the waterfall that Hojon named after Oldoka.
[Jevai] of course
[Rogra] Hello, Downward, glad to see you back.
[Rogra] The stew is almost ready over here.
[Jevai] (...who is her upward?)
[Nemnosti-GM] Well, it's all new to you all, of course; Rogra still arrived just recently, sent by Dalbi. That's all the same.
[Nemnosti-GM] But now you come to the realization that what is different is that Eneronde is still here. And *her* Upward was Eng-dur, just like you, with Giri as her Downward.
[Eneronde] Hi, Jevai. Sorry I ddn't catch you before you went out on your mission, or whatever.
[Eneronde] Sit, it'll all be ready soon.
[Eneronde] Rogra, get the bowls.
[Rogra] Yes, Upward.
[Jevai] what...
[Nemnosti-GM] You fit it all together now. Eneronde lives here with Eng-dur, her Upward, and then she serves as Upward to Rogra in turn.
* Jevai will sit
[Eng-dur] So nice to have all my girls together for dinner.
[Eng-dur] Are you allowed to tell us about it? I mean, I was there ... but it was different.
* Jevai tries to remember if anythig happened to eneronde's mother
[Jevai] I...what do you all know?
[Eng-dur] I don't know what I know. I know that Lurusiru Awakened, based on what happened back then. I know that ever since I met Them in the forest ... it changed me.
[Jevai] I'm not sure what I should say. They are awake, that is true
[Jevai] But I don't think that's true, for you.
[Eng-dur] And things are different than they were. But what is different, I couldn't say. Except that ... I remember being you.
[Jevai] Something else changed, for you to be there, in the forest, to meet Them. And I don't know what.
[Eng-dur] And through you, I have ... fragments of memory, of important things.
[Jevai] yes
* Jevai glances at Eneronde
[Eng-dur] And because of what happened then, that is why She gave me your name. Eng-dur-who-is-Jevai.
[Eng-dur] The only acolyte to be given a dimirabas from the future rather than the past.
[Eng-dur] Fitting, I think, given everything else.
[Eneronde] It used to be so confusing.
[Jevai] is not not still?
[Rogra] Definitely!
* Jevai smiles
* Eneronde laughs.
[Eng-dur] Are you all right, Pebble?
[Jevai] I was afraid of more drastic.... divergences.
[Eng-dur] Ah, understandable. That's all right. We can talk more after the bloodletting.
* Rogra looks confused.
* Jevai gives him a sharp 'are you fucking with me ' look
* Eng-dur bursts out laughing.
[Jevai] good.
[Eng-dur] I want to thank you, Pebble. I owe you a lot. And not only for rescuing me.
[Eng-dur] For ... whatever you did to help put me on this path.
* Jevai nods
* Jevai tries to think about her Downward
[Eng-dur] And for giving me the chance to see things through your eyes, even if only for a little while.
[Eng-dur] It certainly made for some fun times when you were training.
* Jevai huffs
[Jevai] remember - I know what *you* were like too, now
[Eng-dur] If you think that's bad, talk to Sprig sometime. She's been following me around all these years, and she knows *everything*.
[Sprig] Arf!
[Jevai] I will.
[Rogra] He's such a good boy. Yes you are!
[Eng-dur] There's a lot to think about now that They are back.
[Jevai] Voice Rupun must be so excited
[Eng-dur] He's been excited for months. The signs were all there - including you folks, of course.
[Eng-dur] Adopting Rechegoko and myself into the lineage ... but of course, now, there will be many others.
[Eng-dur] But new risks, once everyone learns about Their awakening.
[Jevai] of course
[Jevai] is Their place ready for Them? is it safe?
* Jevai scrtches sprig’s ears again
[Jevai] This one must also be very excited
[Eng-dur] It is not ready yet.
[Eng-dur] Preparations have had to be cautious, to avoid too much attention.
* Jevai nods
[Jevai] soon, though
[Eng-dur] Soon. My preparations over there have been considerable. It's a marvel. Old stone, new glyphs.
* Jevai tries to remember if she has seen it
[Nemnosti-GM] It is definitely coming back to you now. You've been there, you've seen it. It is a marvel of the sigillant's craft.
[Jevai] ...yes.
[Jevai] very impressive.
[Eng-dur] The tower Lurusilt stands in the shadow of the old Lurusiru Osti, awaiting its benefactor's return.
[Eng-dur] As for me, I'll just sit here and chew on a garnet or two for now.
* Jevai nods
[Jevai] Do we know anything more, with Aunt naka's work, abotu... why?
[Eng-dur] Why what?
[Jevai] the changes from your time in the Shallows
[Eng-dur] Oh, that. No, it hasn't been important. But ... maybe it should be?
* Eng-dur stares.
[Jevai] ....
[Jevai] of course it is
[Jevai] There is something.... in all of this.... about the nature of Stone
* Eng-dur nods.
[Eng-dur] Well, something to pay attention to, now that the other thing is resolved.
[Jevai] ...resolved?
[Eng-dur] Well, with Lurusiru.
[Jevai] mmm.
[Rogra] More stew, Downward?
[Jevai] thank you.
* Eng-dur smiles warmly, pops a chunk of quartz, and downs it with wine.
[Nemnosti-GM] Until next we gather by the firelight, young acolytes!
