Istu Levunu

Istu Levunu, or the Dropping Gate, is a long, ancient standing stone located at the top of the Pardopasu just next to where the Pasu River drops down from the Ghengom into the valley near Nemnosti. It has been in place for many centuries, certainly as long as the memory of any of the Ancestor sigillants known at Nemnosti, so, in other words, at least 700-800 years old and possibly far older. It is low, perhaps only three feet in height, and about seven feet long. It is inscribed on all sides, but most prominently on the side facing west towards the Ghengom (see image), where a great set of concentric circles and other abstract designs are carefully inscribed, although large parts of all sides are somewhat worn and faded. While Istu Levunu holds meaning to the Ravre, it is no longer active in Source and has not been for many ages.
