Deghonaina (688-) is the widow of the former Nemni hengi Multur, and mother of the current hengi Hojon Nemni. Raised as the daughter of the Losturi hengi into considerable wealth, she was an acolyte here many years ago and knows most of the social secrets of this place. Now elderly but still alert and cunning, Deghonaina sees herself in the mold of the former hengi Ajemika, as a powerful woman exercising control over her broad kin group. The Nemni, outside her immediate family, do not trust her much, and rumour has it that neither does Nemnu. She lives on the grounds of Nemnosti but not in the immediate compound of the Nemni lineage.
