• Xandhil is curled up in a chair in Kalman's library, reading by candlelight
• Justen comes into the room, in his regular clothes for now (not skimpy party clothes)

[Justen] Hey...

• Xandhil is reading ].]
• Justen knows the signs, and just comes over and sits near you
• Xandhil is also just a little oblivious when he is absorbed
• Justen stretches his legs out so that his feet nestle against yours
• Xandhil looks up mid page-turn

[Xandhil] mm? [Justen] just saying hi

• Xandhil smiles
• Justen smiles back

[Justen] what's that you're reading? [Xandhil] it isn't time to get ready yet is it? [Justen] not yet, no [Xandhil] (good question :V) [Xandhil] A genealogy book [Justen] (hee, sorry. didn't mean to put you on the spot)

• Xandhil answers, relaxing a little more since he doesn't have to face party times just yet

[Xandhil] I don't really know enough about that sort of thing back home [Justen] I think we're going to have dinner here first [Justen] before we go, I mean [Xandhil] but I know enough little pieces to compare

• Justen nods

[Xandhil] oh, okay [Justen] well, Cesar asked if we wanted to, and I said yes. [Justen] I figured, why turn down free food? [Justen] I hope that's okay

• Xandhil nods

[Xandhil] ...did I tell you I talked to Kalman? [Xandhil] well both of them, I guess [Xandhil] last night [Justen] no, what, after the fucking? [Xandhil] yeah... [Xandhil] you were sleeping

• Xandhil says, nudging your foot with his
• Justen smiles

[Justen] I slept so well.

• Justen says contentedly

[Xandhil] I bet [Xandhil] anyway [Xandhil] i told Kalman where we're from [Xandhil] he'll probably tell Cesar, so they might have questions [Xandhil] more questions [Xandhil] or mayb e not [Xandhil] well

• Justen nods

[Xandhil] I didn't tell him everything [Justen] I guess he hasn't told him yet - I was hanging out with Cesar for a while this afternoon and he didn't mention that. [Xandhil] he told me more about people who might be useful, and who to be careful of [Justen] okay, that's good?

• Xandhil sighs

[Xandhil] yeah... [Xandhil] it is [Xandhil] but... [Justen] what? [Xandhil] my mom... I guess she has a double here too [Xandhil] Dozilve [Justen] o_O [Xandhil] I guess she came here as an ambassador from... probably some other Shadar kai city [Justen] how does that work? She's not even from Aveyrone. [Xandhil] well, only not really [Xandhil] the same way it works for my father, I guess [Xandhil] its more about the city [Xandhil] and she was in the city, before the queen was woken up [Justen] hm. [Xandhil] even if she couldn't have been there very long

• Justen nods

[Xandhil] anyway, I guess she is kind of with the Cozovode people... [Justen] that includes your dad? [Justen] I mean, Sendhel, not your actual dad [Xandhil] yeah [Xandhil] Cesar was trying to find out if Sendhel is my dad [Xandhil] well, he didn't use the name [Justen] oh [Xandhil] I told him I was positive it is someone different [Xandhil] anyway [Xandhil] I really don't want to do this :/ [Justen] :/ [Xandhil] I don't like parties where I do know everyone

• Justen nods

[Justen] I know :/ [Xandhil] let alone where people are going to keep touching me and.. ugh

• Xandhil curls up in his chair

[Justen] ... if you want, I can go alone. I would, if we need to talk with this Coramance lady and that's the only way to get to her. [Xandhil] I'm not going to send you in there alone [Justen] I could get out if i needed. [Xandhil] it's not safe [Xandhil] would you let me go alone? [Justen] ].] [Xandhil] yeah [Justen] I won't let people touch you if you don't want it [Xandhil] okay

• Xandhil reaches a hand over
• Justen takes your hand

[Xandhil] We do have to fit in though

• Justen nods

[Justen] maybe we won't have to stay for long

• Xandhil nods

[Xandhil] maybe it won't be so bad? [Justen] I mean basically we just have to talk to Coramance, right? [Justen] anything else is a bonus [Xandhil] yeah, maybe... [Justen] maybe? [Xandhil] well, we'll see when we get there, I guess [Justen] okay. do you feel like we need to make any plans for while we're there? [Justen] like how we'd deal with certain things? [Justen] where we'd go if we need to get away?

• Xandhil takes a breath

[Xandhil] that would be good, at least [Justen] maybe it will be less scary if we know what we'll do

• Justen squeezes your hand
• Xandhil sighs, because he isn't really sure this is the sort of thing justen is really capable of understanding, but squeezes his hand back and nods

[Justen] you could come sit with me while we talk if you want

• Justen offers, patting his lap :)
• Xandhil nods, and will put his book down and come and collapse against you
• Xandhil closes his eyes and nestles
• Justen wraps his arms around you, holding you close

[Xandhil] where do you think we should go? back here? [Justen] yeah, I think that's best. this place is well-defended at least, and we know we can count on the people here. [Xandhil] okay [Justen] plus, I mean... I assume we're leaving our stuff here [Xandhil] heh, yeah [Xandhil] so just go... back to our room? [Justen] I don't think we can teleport straight there. maybe to the steps outside? [Xandhil] okay

• Justen strokes your back as he holds you

[Xandhil] what else can we even plan for? [Justen] well... what will we do if someone wants to have sex? I mean I suppose it depends on the person. [Justen] or people ].] [Xandhil] what if its a girl? [Justen] yeah [Justen] I mean, I can do that, if it's helpful for us... [Justen] if we're not going to split up, do you think you can watch, stay close? would that be okay for you, or too weird? [Xandhil] I can watch [Justen] like, you could just do sexy stuff with me, if you need to join in

• Xandhil nods

[Justen] they must know here that some people just like one or the other, right? like that's a thing? [Justen] so if they're pushy, we just say you only like guys [Xandhil] yeah [Justen] you know it wouldn't mean anything, right? [Xandhil] yes [Xandhil] its not that [Justen] okay [Xandhil] I'll be okay [Justen] all right [Xandhil] I'm just not going to like it [Justen] I'm just worried for you... I don't want you to be upset [Xandhil] well, the worst that could happen is what - awkward terrible sex with some stranger? I'll live. [Xandhil] Just don't leave me alone [Justen] no, of course not [Justen] and if anyone gets grabby that you don't want, I'll tell them hands off

• Xandhil nods

[Xandhil] good enough [Xandhil] i love you [Justen] I love you too

• Justen kisses you

[Justen] do you want a bit more quiet time before dinner? [Justen] or want me to stay? [Xandhil] you can stay if you can be quiet [Justen] yeah, I can be quiet. I might nap a little, actually. [Xandhil] okay [Xandhil] me too

• Xandhil snuggles down

[Xandhil] if that's okay

• Justen nods
• Justen cuddles you close
• Xandhil will snuggle and doze, at least
• Justen too
