Summary

Volda explains the basics of the job, including splitting into three parties: There's only so much to distinguish the villages, but, running west to east, Znapp and Krakal are both predominantly human and dragonborn, while Paup is about half gnomish from what Nicu was saying. Krakal has a small holdfast, which is not precisely a target, but does have the most stored wealth if we did want to hit it. I was thinking Kih will take the veterans and go for Znapp, Brauni will take the younger adults and strike at Krakal, and Yev and I will take a group including some of the older kids to get them some experience.

Everyone agreees that it is maybe best not to involve Ranibow in the raiding so close to her home, and when she has little combat experience (yet). Instead she volunteers to stay with Yvelda and help look after the younger kids while so many adults are away.

After the meeting, Chlyde gets into a big fight with her mom over not coming home, and what she is doing with her life, which is broken up by her dad Lubash. She storms off and commiserates with Brauni, who is still jazzed about her responsibility.

Frond checks to see if Kirar is okay coming along, but he seems game. He also reminisces about one of the dragonborn lords that ruled near where he grew up, Keith Aethlin.

Aan goes to help Qog and talk about the mission, but runs away when an overexcited Pica tries to jump on him.

Ranibow and Dulcibella talk to Certa about drow and Drow, as well as bread and power. Certa also tells her a bit more about how the caravan works, and Ranibow tells her about her family.

Lillias talks to Tsukaav about his lie and place kin the Caravan, and what she plans to do with her own life... which is stick with them for now.

Brauni also talks to her mom about ideas she can implement for this, and decides to go with the classic of raiding under the cover of darkness. She takes the usual PCs along with Kanduk, Kirar, her uncle Agark and Tulluk to help with the animals.

It is a few days good march north through the hills to the targets of your raid. they stay as a group, camping lightly on the way, before splitting up when you hit the valley. The villages are no more than a few miles apart, so they camp the day before and leave as night falls to hopefully meet back up before dawn.

After a scouting report gives them a layout of the town, Brauni sends the experience cattle handlers (and NPCs) Agark and Tulluk to go after the poorly guarded cattle, while she leads the others to attack the small holdfast as a distraction and raid what they can from there. They decide not to take prisoners, but that they don't need to kill their targets either.

At the holdfast, they manage to sneak up and restrain the guards outside with a sleep spell before breaking in to the house itself. As they do, Tsuvkaav recognizes his ex-girlfriend, Ethessa, among the holdfast's defenders
