Meg Topher

Meg is a tough, streetwise woman in her late thirties from Diablotin. She rarely talked about her youth, except to say that it had been rough and often violent. She did tell Gen that her family had mostly been killed when she was a girl of eight, and only she, a younger sister, and one aunt had survived. She was probably the most skilful of the Red Squadron, balancing an ability to scout and be stealthy with an aptitude for killing quickly and quietly when necessary. She was involved with Alric Thovas during the war, although it's unknown whether their relationship lasted any longer than that.
