Asomon (738-), known to the Lady as Ghongum, is a former acolyte who trained at Nemnosti as a Voice, and who now serves as a cantor at the sacred natural site of Degh Ekorre, which is customarily assigned to his lineage. He is generally recognized as having an exceptionally beautiful bass voice. During his youth he was involved with many of the young women of his age at the ulajeta, and still has a reputation as a ladies' man despite his role as a Voice.
