Purpose

Templates can be used to insert text into an article quickly. For example, for all characters played by me, I could add a { { balthcat } } template to automatically add "Player: [User:BalthCat|BalthCat]" wherever I drop the { { balthcat } }. (Remove the spaces between braces).

I have created a number of templates to automatically mark articles as stubs. I have further created templates to mark articles as belonging to particular games, or to mark PCs and games, etc. Below is a list of templates that can be used, and for what purpose. [edit] List [edit] General Use

   * game: marks article as Category: Games (to be used for game main pages)
   * pc: marks article as Category: Characters
   * npc: marks article as Category: NPCs (perhaps outdated with game specific npc tags)
   * retired: marks article as Category: Retired Games
   * ooc: marks article as Category: OOC
   * tidy: marks an article as being in need of Tidying.
