Zali Dendorfi

Zali (683-), known to the lady as Paimne, is a noblewoman from the powerful Dendorfi lineage but from a branch descended from the Nemni hengi Ajemika Osper Nemni and which, for that and other reasons, has been excluded from much direct power in her birth lineage. At various times Zali has used the Nemni name, including the years when she trained as an acolyte, now nearly seventy years ago, but has long lived in Naftusa with her husband's family. Zali's marriage into the Sortusai came at a moment when the two lineages were particularly in tension, and things are still tense with the hengi Rosem, a second cousin. Her husband died last year and, very unusually for a nobleman, was rendered bubun in Nemnosti.
