Jorota Vuvrugh

Jorota (720-741-), born as Mimpa, known as Five-lashes and to the Lady as Zhivai, is the Preceptor, the overseer of the training of Nemnu Ula's acolytes in The Courses. Jorota is a powerful mystic from the city of Omba who was once Nemnu's apprentice during and after her own time as an acolyte, and has remained loyal to her for decades since. She died in the Daghuri Plague but was revived, and now has pure black eyes. Now in her middle years, the elders still remember that she is not a native but she is regarded by many as being as close to Nemnu as anyone save her closest kin of the Nemni lineage. She is partnered a fellow teacher at the ulajeta and they have two living children.
