Fuvuri is a medium-sized city in Taizi on the northern shore of Lake Bunduga near the foothills of the Khurorgos Mountains. It has around 21,000 permanent inhabitants. Its architecture is a mixture of classic Omban styles and a more contemporary wood and stone architecture that draws on the natural curvature of the lake and the landforms. Historically, Fuvuri was a mining town whose harbour was the northern terminus of the great shipping lines that led through Lake Bunduga and the Vadu Sea out to the ocean. While it still serves that role, it is now a much more quaint and conservative place whose still waters and beautiful landscapes attract Taizian nobles to build great estates. During the Khutu-Taizian wars following the fall of the Omban Empire, Fuvuri had a significant military role but is now only lightly defended.
