'''Zhuru''' is a large city in western [[Daligash]], and behind [[Lunduso]], is the second-largest city not only in the country but in all the Omban states, with over 80,000 residents. Located on the south shore of [[Lake Bunduga]], it lies at the heartland of the giant Daligashi agricultural estates in the western part of the country. Zhuru's city center is a great circular artificial island built into the lake, in classic western Omban style with low, rectangular buildings. At the center of the island sits the great palaces where the Daligashi nobility hold onto what little influence they have. But the city itself is a sprawling, uncontrolled mass of economic growth, [[Bronze and Ruby]] factionalism, and political unrest, including an occasional nod in the direction of an independence movement.
