The story of Whisper the Drow tell:

The one with the mask? We just call him Whisper. For one he talks all quiet cause the scars the mask cover makes it hurt to talk normal, and he’ll sneak up on ya real easy.

What happened to him? Its not a happy story I can tell you. That young elf was part of the Stalkers, but retired when his commander took a shine to him and settled down. That commander, L’anne, she’s my sister, supposedly. Never met her. Doesn’t mater for the story.

So Whisper is all settled, mushroom farmers I think, and even has a family, like two daughters in the span of three years. For Drow, you have the same chance of getting struck by lightning to have that many children so quick, let alone both girls. Guess fate or the gods or whatnot agreed, cause a necro beast attacked the family farm. Killed the wife, both girls, and maimed Whisper bad before he finally struck it down with L’anne’s blade… that’s the fancy one he carries on his back, but I’ve never seen him use.

I’m sure there’s a whole lot more to it, but it’s not like he’s being forthcoming. What he did tell me is that he wants to move on with his life, so I say let him. Still he acts a little strange. If you watch him he’s always leaving offerings to the Fae. Must be a true believer. I mean we all have our trusts in higher power, praise Lolth, but I know my faith would be shattered after what he’s been through.

o Missing left eye and left ear

o Missing lower left leg below the knee – has wooden prosthetic

o Face horribly scared on left side, making it difficult to talk above a whisper
