Ulozo is the second-largest city in Hasmala, with 27,000 inhabitants. Located along the great Loz River that runs the breadth of the entire country, Ulozo is the military and agricultural hub of the country, defending both against raids from groups to the east, as well as serving as a launching point for raids on Basai to the north - Hasmala has taken considerable Basaian territory over the past two centuries of tension between the two nations. Ulozo is the second city of Hasmala theologically, but is nonetheless home to many major Temples of the Hand, built in classic Omban domed style. Ulozo is today the city best-known for the creation and distribution of bubun for agricultural and military labour - perhaps 10,000 bubun are housed in the city along with its living inhabitants.
