He was later determined to have been ultimately responsible for that attack, having allowed the [[Rod of Dust]] to leave the treasury. For his various crimes, the [[Council of Reverends]] decided to remove him from office and strike his name from the rolls of the Patriarchs, replacing him with Reverend Father [[Loftus]]. The heroes were dispatched to take him into custody, which they did after some struggles with [[Spokesmen]] still loyal to him. He was imprisoned in the Imperial dungeons.<br />
