Nemnosti is the cloister (ulajeta) of [[Nemnu Ula]] and her associates. Located at the far end of the [[Pardopasu]] valley, Nemnosti has been for centuries the pilgrimage site and home of Nemnu. It is centered around the great temple of the [[Voice of the Dead|Voice]] built into the southern face of the valley and the great cave complexes built from former alabaster quarries, which now serve as ossuaries for the ancient and venerated dead of the [[Nemni lineage]] and other revered persons. Around 100 people live permanently at Nemnosti at any time, but at least two to three times that number, mainly residents of the nearby villages of [[Hertu]] and [[Akapa Sogo]], work or spend considerable time at Nemnosti.
