Multur (681-755), known to the Lady as Elof, was the twenty-fifth osper (hengi) of the Nemni lineage after the death of his aunt Ajemika. He was generally viewed as a caretaker and relatively passive as a leader, deferring to Nemnu Ula and indeed, to his wife Deghonaina. The Daghuri Plague in the first years of his reign brought such sorrow to the cloister and the lineage that it took decades to recover. Nonetheless, a major accomplishment of his tenure was managing the transition that accompanied the early years of the fos rush and its effect on magical life at the ulajeta, including the marriage of his son Hojon, who succeeded him, to a key member of the Derteri fos mercantile lineage.
