Kariman was an advisor to her sister, Hrieffen Eryvet Mirku, while she was Hraal, before the betrayal of [[Valaxabar anir'Myreth anir'Hrieffen|Valexabar]].

Kariman survived the fight, but she was deemed too old and unfit to lead the tribe, as she is over thirty and has a number of old injuries which impair her capacity as a war leader. Instead she continues to serve as an advisor to [[Hrieffen Orak Kraaz|Kraaz]], when the young Hraal seeks advice tempered with more experience.

She is proud of her son, and of her clan, but her recent experiences have left her a little bitter.
