They are based in the city of Highmark in the Nerathi Confederacy.<br /> ==History==<br /> House Scrye traces its history back to the founding of Highmark as an outpost of the Arkhosian Empire. A family of the original tribe which recieved the Dragonmark of Making began excavating a mine in what would become the city. As more settlers moved to the area, the original family took on administrative roles to manage the immigration. When Arkhosia fell, the house fell into internal debate over their responsibilities to other former Arkhosian outposts. The nobles split into House Factore, which advocated an isolationist stance, and House Scrye, which held that only a unified Empire could resist Bael Turath.
