* Justen comes into the room, in his regular clothes for now (not skimpy party clothes)

* Xandhil is also just a little oblivious when he is absorbed
* Justen stretches his legs out so that his feet nestle against yours

* Xandhil sighs, because he isn't really sure this is the sort of thing justen is really capable of understanding, but squeezes his hand back and nods

* Justen offers, patting his lap :)
* Xandhil nods, and will put his book down and come and collapse against you
* Xandhil closes his eyes and nestles
* Justen wraps his arms around you, holding you close
[Xandhil] where do you think we should go? back here?
[Justen] yeah, I think that's best. this place is well-defended at least, and we know we can count on the people here.

[Justen] plus, I mean... I assume we're leaving our stuff here

[Justen] I don't think we can teleport straight there. maybe to the steps outside?
