==Summary==
[[Kaia]], [[Jola]], [[Osha]], and [[Xavier]] keep their appointment to meet at the [[Green Mermaid]] a month after their arrival in [[Friestadt]]. They are discussing their portentous dreams when someone tries to cast a spell on Jla. After several other unsuccessful attempts to magically manipulate them, the party decides to leave. They encounter a strange monster when they decsend the inn stairs, and this causes a general panic among the patrons. Two mages, possibly a wizard and a priest, attempt to kill the party, and eventually trap most of them in a web after setting the inn on fire with a web. [[Taharqa]] appears, late to the meeting, and dispatches the casters. Jola manages to rescue both the other girls from suffocating in the smoking inn, and Taharqa rescues his fellow [[Hound]].
