Bura (707-) is a reckoner whose origins were among the [[Ravre]] of [[Akapa Sogo]], but who served [[Nemnu Ula]] as an acolyte in her youth and remained at [[Nemnosti]]. She helps bridge the gap between 'civilized' Khutuans and the Ravre when they send their children to be acolytes. Her areas of responsibility in particular are the history of the region, ritual, customs, and folklore, areas in which her mastery is widely recognized. She has been married three times, once with Ravre children, once with town children, and a third time, in her middle years. She is not easy to get along with, being generally convinced of her own rightness in all matters.
